G. J. Timpson
According to his attestation papers dated April 12, 1916, George Joseph Timpson was born on December 8, 1890 in Toronto. He listed his wife Mary Timpson, 243 Rhodes Avenue, Toronto as his next of kin. He indicated his occupation as a Teamster. He had no previous military experience. He was 26 years and 4 month of age. He was 5 feet 4 1/2 inches tall with grey eyes, brown hair and medium complexion. He had a scar on his right knee and left chin. He was a member of the Church of England.
