He listed his father, William Breakspear, Northleigh, Oxford, England as his next of kin. He was a bricklayer and was an active member of the 12th Regiment, York Rangers. He was 27 years and 2 months of age and stood 5 feet 9 inches tall. He had blue eyes and dark hair and complexion. He was a member of the Church of England.
In the 1921 Toronto City directory he is listed as a bricklayer living on the north side of Symons Street, Mimico.
