Pte. J. S. Wooller - 916078
According to his attestation papers signed on February 18, 1916, James Strange Wooller was born in Stratford, England on February 11, 1882. He listed his trade as a Motorman. He was married and listed his wife Grace Annie Wooller as next of kin. He did have past military experience indicating that he had had twelve years experience as a private with the 5th Lancers. He was 34 years old, 5 feet 7 3/4 inches tall with brown eyes and fair hair and complexion. He was a member of the Church of England. On his right forearm he had a tatoo of a Lancer.
