S. Waller
According to his attestation papers, dated March 4, 1916, Sydney Gilbert Waller was born in Sawantwarri, (Sawantwadi?) India on March 25, 1875. He listed his wife Hattie Irene Waller as his next of kin. He listed his occupation as in advertising. He did not have any previous military experience. He was 40 years and 11 months old and was 6 feet tall. He had grey eyes and grayish brown hair with a fresh complexion. He was slightly deaf, especially in the right ear.
